Globe and Mail - Mittens!

New Facts & Arguments piece for the Globe and Mail! This essay told of how the author never had mittens or umbrellas as a child, as her mother had deemed them some sort of excessive luxury. When the children went out in the snow, they had to wear socks on their hands in place of gloves. Thanks of course to AD Matt French!

Globe and Mail

Another piece for the Globe and Mail's Facts and Arguments column. This essay was about a woman in the U.S. Foreign Service who reminisces about the Italian grocery store she grew up in as a child. Now stationed in Ottawa, Ontario, she reconnects with the memory by visiting a local Italian grocer.

Boston Globe Op-Ed

A quick turn around for an Op-Ed in today's Boston Globe. It was great to work with unrestricted dimensions and AD Heather Hopp-Bruce made it look twice as good with the page layout!

You can see larger images of the piece in my tumblr post.

New Work - Globe and Mail

Here’s a new piece I just did for the always-great-to-work-with Matt French at the Globe and Mail. This Facts and Arguments essay was about a man who drives the scenic, no-winter-maintenance route home on a whim and proceeds to berate himself excessively for his foolishness.

You can see some larger images of the piece in my tumblr post.

You can read the article online at the Globe and Mail, here.

New Work - Globe and Mail, Canadian Grocer

A recent piece for Matt French at The Globe and Mail. It accompanied an essay about a man spoiled by his prodigious reading ability as a youngster, who then finds himself uninterested in keeping up with the pace and practicality of adulthood.

A spot illustration for a column in the February issue of Canadian Grocer. The article discussed how the grocery business is becoming increasingly dominated by non-standard grocery retailers, such as megastores like Walmart and warehouse stores like Costco. Thanks to AD Lindsay Maclachlan!
